About the Business
An enquiry by HMRC can be a serious disruption to business and may take a long time to resolve. We run a fee protection scheme that will cover our fees should you be unfortunate enough to receive a FULL enquiry. We are unusual in that we do not keep time sheets and generally do not charge by the hour or 6 minute unit. There is some work which we cannot anticipate at the start how long it will take and, therefore, cannot give you a fixed cost, but even here, we make sure that there are no nasty surprises.
We find the best way forward is to give you an initial estimate of the cost for the assignment and then agree to warn you when we are approaching a predetermined limit.
