About the Business
I am Ruth Elliott the principal of Ruth Elliott & Co, I am an experienced Chartered Accountant and I have operated in practice for many years. I am able to provide the professional advice and support you need for your business. I qualified in 2001 and I have worked both in small practices and for a big 4 firm (Ernst & Young).
I am also a Mum with three young children and I understand the challenges of running a business and managing the demands of a family. As a parent I have developed a range of skills including multi tasking, negotiation and arbitration.
I have recently set up this practice because I am keen to support businesses as they struggle to comply with recent tax changes and new legislation. There is a lot of red tape for businesses to operate under and then there all the challenges of surviving in a tough market place. For new businesses just starting up, all the information you need to know to stay within the law and on the right side of HMRC can seem overwhelming at times.
