Cartwright & Co is made up of 13 members of staff who all bring their skills to our friendly workplace. We believe a positive, professional and friendly approach is key to the service we provide to YOU, our client. Originally set up by Steve and Linda Cartwright over 25 years ago, the business has grown to the success that it is today. Since then the team have worked with literally thousands of clients from sole traders and partnerships to limited companies and a number of larger groups.

Tax Planning
Many people pay more tax than they need to and, whilst recognising that in society we all need to pay our share of tax, we can help you minimise your tax burden and ensure that your tax solution is efficient and absolutely legal.
There could be areas such as your Pension, Inheritance Tax, Capital Gains Tax or taxes linked with your business where early and effective tax-planning can ensure a smaller bill. We can offer you a completely personalised service to suit your needs and are more than happy to meet with you to discuss this.
Bookkeeping & VAT
You need to be responsible for very basic bookkeeping which requires you to keep details of your daily transactions - your purchases, sales, receipts and any payments you make. Beyond this you can hand the information over to us and we will take it from there. Certainly when you are new to the process we are more than happy to help and advise until you are confident to take over more of this task yourself.

Thanks to the advice from Cartwright's I moved from sole trader to limited company in a way that had a very positive impact on my life both personally and in business.
