I sold a property in Liverpool which I lived in from 2000 til 2005. Then we visited the house as a second home during school hols etc until it was sold earlier this week I understand I will owe some tax. I need someone who can work out the amount of tax owed. The house was bought 61,500 and sold earlier this week for 226,000. There was money spent to do the house up and put in the driveway and modernise it. Is this all allowable for tax? I understand the tax year ends 5th April so I need to submit my tax shortly. Many Thanks Susan
